Great find! Good food, cozy and modern atmosphere. It has all gluten free menu! I was able to customize my vegetarian sandwich. I am so happy I found this cafe in Lowell.

Dragonfly Cafe in Lowell, Massachusetts recently opened up as a completely gluten free cafe. This is a great new option for Lowell and super happy they are here. I have been multiple times and I can say each time has been pretty consistent. Atmosphere: Huge open space with lots of natural light. They also have a space where you could work that has gorgeous couches. Also a great deck for outdoor seating on nice days. Food: Favorites are the build your own bowl (grain or greens, protein, veg, dressing) I generally do rice, mixed greens, bacon, egg, sweet potato and pick a dressing. I also love the smoothies and the signature avo toast is delish. The fact that everything is gluten free doesnt change flavor at all. At least not for me. They also have great treats. Definitely a solid choice for breakfast or lunch and a lot of options!

Our food tasted so flavorful and fresh. Everything is gluten-free and nutritious. You can build your own bowl with a variety of options and the portion was generous. The place is open and full of greenery. This is a great place to study, wait for the train nearby, or have a small work lunch or meeting. They do open mics and trivia nights as well. Will be coming here more regularly!

I always have a wonderful experience here with the quick service and happy staff members. The events are interesting along with the book and clothing drives. These are a great addition to a week or weekend visit here at Dragonfly Cafe. A healthy, well balanced, abundant meal from Dragon fly will certainly satisfy. There are so many options when building your own bowl. Even if you're looking for in house baked goods, they have fresh food prepared daily. If you are in the area looking for a quick treat, coffee, tea, or meal look no further and stop by this gem. You will not regret it!

Had a great experience here. The space is vibrant and inviting, there’s plenty of different seating options to suit your needs, and the food is amazing and fresh. I built my own bowl which had white rice, mixed greens, roasted sweet potato, cucumber, bacon (which was unreal), and a sunny egg with chipotle aioli. 10/10. A friend of mine got the Revitalized smoothie which is pictured as well and was really good. Definitely coming back here!! UPDATE 1/31/2025: The motivator sandwich is small, not very well seasoned, and nothing comes with it, very disappointing for 10. The chai was watered down and not great. I got the renewal smoothie which was good but for 11 the size is a little ridiculous. Dropping a star for this visit but I’ll be back again. UPDATE 3/24/2025: Dragonfly has redeemed themselves and moved back to a 5 star in all aspects. I got the Awakened bowl and oh my lord. I also had the Lavender Haze smoothie and it was so good that I was using my straw to suck at the bottom of the cup to the point where it was pissing people off. I’ll be back in the most prompt manner possible.

Food and service were excellent. I love the concept of celiac diet. Having a bunch of Gluten Free options sounds like a dream to me. I only downside to 3 starts for atmosphere because i didn’t feel welcomed by the people that goes to Dragonfly, however, I do not care and will go back to try their whole menu, but maybe I will take it home instead of eating there, that’s all. I had a sandwich BLT, and a Habibi salad, total was almost 30. Again, really loved the food and service!

What a fabulous cafe! Tucked into the first floor of this exchange building the Dragonfly Cafe is worth seeking out- especially if you are gluten sensitive! The atmosphere is SO chill with undercurrents of warmth coming from the staff. A wonderful place to pop in or hang for the day! The avo toast (without the spicy stuff for me) was the perfect size and super tasty! The ginger turmeric tea was delicious. The baked goods looked drool-worthy. I will definitely be returning to try a bowl or smoothie. So glad I found this spot!
